What is a Blog?

A blog is nothing more than a simplified web platform designed to make it easy for an author – in this case BayBuzz – to make frequent content updates that can be read in reverse chronological order (most recent back to oldest). Some “bloggers” use their blogs to publish personal journals, for example.

For BayBuzz, our blog feature allows us to file frequent newspaper-like reports – usually one each weekday – on political happenings around the Bay. Any day a reader visits the BayBuzz blog, you will automatically see the most recent article (or “post”) that has been entered. From there, you can easily navigate in one of several ways to the others posts in the blog…

  1. You can simply scroll down the page and read earlier post
  2. You can use the “Search” box in the left column of our website pages to find posts that contain a specific word, like “Yule” or “Arnott.”
  3. Or you can choose from the latest five posts listed under “Recent Posts” in the right column.

But BayBuzz is much more than just the blog. So browse and interact and use our other content and tools – issue resources, action tools to get involved, opinion polls, messages from Guest Buzzmakers – by starting at the BayBuzz website homepage, right here.
