Breaking news: 7:46am: – Armed police raid regional council:
We’re here live in Napier, where a police anti-terror squad (pictured) has just stormed Dalton Street’s Hawke’s Bay Regional Council building. In less than three minutes, the elite team restrained, handcuffed and escorted the nine incumbent councillors into an armoured police vehicle.

You’ve probably read in HB Today that the Hawke’s Bay Hospital is going to use electronic wristbands to help track patients in the emergency department. Lord knows there’s no telling how far a mortally ill or injured victim can wander when they haven’t been seen in hours!
